Charming hospitality by the river

Woke up to a stunning river view, greeted by delicious homemade breakfast options. The hosts were incredibly warm and made me feel truly at home.

Only downside was that the room felt a bit warmer than expected due to limited air conditioning. Still, it didn't ruin the overall experience.

The Innkeepers were incredibly accommodating and made us feel right at home.

The a/c in the room wasn't powerful enough, resulting in a warmer stay than expected.

During my stay, the air conditioning was ineffective, leaving the room uncomfortably warm throughout the night. I found it quite frustrating that I couldn't properly cool the space. Additionally, the window A/C unit prevented me from fully lowering the shades, resulting in insufficient darkness for a good night's sleep.

The Black Lantern B&B provided a warm and inviting atmosphere during my one-night stay. Tom greeted me with a friendly smile and offered valuable tips for local attractions that greatly enhanced my work trip. The room was well-appointed with a comfortable mattress and beautiful river views. Breakfast was a highlight, featuring delicious options that fueled my day ahead.

we had a fantastic stay at this charming b&b in topsham, where the stunning garden views and cozy room truly exceeded our expectations. the breakfast was a delightful experience with freshly baked muffins and delicious egg dishes. tom and judy were warm hosts, making us feel right at home.

We had an awesome stay at the B&B with friends. Loved visiting Bowdoin College, exploring the Walker Art Gallery and the Maine State Music Theatre nearby. The inn had beautiful gardens, and Tom and Judy were amazing hosts. Breakfast was a great experience, and the accommodations were cozy and perfect for relaxing.

The only downside was the pillows. they were pretty flat and needed replacing.

The Black Lantern B&B had charming decor, lovely gardens, and ample outdoor seating, which were all very accessible. The inviting ambiance and beautiful views of the Androscoggin River truly made my stay feel relaxing and special.

A wonderful escape featuring beautifully decorated rooms and a serene location by the river. The breakfast was a standout, especially the homemade muffins and Dutch baby pancake. Birdwatching opportunities abound with lovely gardens nearby. Tom's dinner recommendation was spot on, making the experience even more enjoyable.

our stay at black lantern b&b was exceptional! tom and judy were such welcoming hosts and their guidance on local attractions was spot on. the breakfast was truly amazing, especially the homemade dutch baby and muffins. we loved enjoying the lovely gardens with river views too.

What a charming place to unwind! The spacious Queen Room had stunning river views, and we loved relaxing in the garden area and sun terrace. Just a heads up, the stairs to the bedrooms are a bit steep, but it didn't ruin our enjoyment. 😊
